Costa Rica

Public sector labour unions have called an indefinite strike as of Monday, 10 September. This situation may result in collection, processing and delivery delays for both inbound and outbound mail.
Japan

Typhoon Jebi hit the western part of Japan on 4 September 2018, as a result there have been delays to mail services.
Kansai International Airport (KIX), where Osaka International Post Office is based and deals with international mail has been closed. As a result, international mail and parcel services have been temporarily switched from Kansai Airport to other airports until Kansai Airport becomes operational again.
Japan Post is making every effort to maintain operational performance for international postal services but unavoidable delays are likely over the coming weeks.

There was an earthquake in northern Japan on 6 September and as a result there are delays to mail services in the Hokkaido region (postcode: 00?04-09 ).
Israel Holidays
