Spain

Transportation workers to go on strike: Media sources reported on October 23 that transportation workers, together with the UGT and CCOO unions, have organised a 24-hour strike on October 30 to protest against Transcalit and UNO employers over a collective agreement. The strike will likely have an impact on the transport sector throughout Spain.
Poland

Poczta Polska would like to inform that, due to the implementation of the new version of IPS v2018, from 1st of November 07:00 to 3rd of November 22:00 there will be no exchange of messages for both inbound and outbound mail.
Lebanon – back to normal

Lebanon Post has updated that normal Postal operation has resumed from 1st November 2019 following the protests and demonstrations.
Philippines – back to normal

The designated operator of the Philippines, Philippine Postal Corporation, informs other Union member countries and their designated operators that normal conveyance of mails by air resumed on 24 October 2019.
Consequently, all outgoing and incoming international mail dispatches are now operating as normal.
Malaysia

Flooding disrupts road traffic: Media sources report that flooding has been disrupting road traffic throughout Malaysia’s western coast since October 26, with disruptions continuing to be reported in Selangor, Perak, and Kedah. Further disruptions should be expected until the flooding recedes.
Bolivia

Protesters block major highways: Sources indicated on October 28 that widespread roadblocks due to ongoing civil unrest have been reported on multiple intercity highways across Bolivia including RN25 near La Paz, RN4 and RN7 near Santa Cruz, RN4 near Cochabamba, and RN1 near Muturayo. No information as to how long the roads will remain blocked was available.
Mexico

Transportation strike disrupts road traffic: it has been indicated that the Mexican Alliance of Carrier Organizations AC (AMOTAC) began a 24-hour national transportation strike at 8 am on October 29. The strike action has been affecting road traffic significantly, particularly at the entrances and exits to Mexico City.
Vietnam

Tropical storm affects airport operations: due to the approaching Tropical Storm Matmo, Phu Cat, Tuy Hoa and Cam Ranh airports in the South Central region have been closed. The airports are expected to reopen at 1 am local time on October 31 if the weather permits.
India

Main runway to close for repairs: the main runway at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai will be closed from November 1 until March 28, 2020. The runway will be closed from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm local time every day except for Sundays. Expect flight disruptions during this period due to limited flight capacity.

The designated operator of United States of America, the United States Postal Service (USPS), informs that it experienced an EDI interruption on Monday, 28 October 2019. Service has now been restored; however, data transmissions are currently backlogged. USPS expects everything to be back to normal by 18.00 ET (22.00 UTC) on Wednesday, 30 October.
