According to weather reports, Tropical Storm Jongdari is currently cantered about 1,013 miles south-southwest of Tokyo and is forecast to strengthen to a Typhoon before reaching Japan on July 29. Warnings have been issued for multiple cities in Japan, including Niigata, Iwaki, Kanazawa, Tokyo, and Shizuoka. Associated strong winds as well as heavy rain and floods are likely which may affect power outages and disrupt business operations.
