The Silica beads are a light orange color when recharged. They will turn to a darker green color as they absorb moisture. The Silica will continue to absorb moisture after they have changed color. Generally, the Silica will protect 57 cubic feet, for about 3-6 months in normal conditions before recharging is required. Simply use an oven and the instructions on the package to recharge the Silica Gel.
