Hornady 270 Caliber Crimp On Gas Checks

Hornady Gas Checks help increase the performance of your cast bullets. These .277 diamerter copper gas checks crimp onto the base of your cast bullets protecting them from hot gases and deformation. The gas checks also help prevent lead fouling by reducing the amount of lead build-up in the barrel.

If you cast your own bullets our crimp-on gas checks will enhance their performance. During sizing the gas check crimps to the base of case lead bullets to seal gasses and protect the base from deformation. Hornady gas checks are the only real choice for bullet casters.
