5 YEAR LIMITED CONSUMER WARRANTY TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER OF THE PRODUCT
1. For the period of 5 years from the original purchase date , this electronic scale is covered under warranty as a consumer product to the original consumer purchaser.
2. This electronic scale is warranted against defective materials and workmanship. This warranty does not cover batteries. This warranty is void if the product has been damaged due to misuse. unreasonable use, neglect, accident, internal calibration tampering, improper and unauthorized service or other causes not arising out of defects in material or workmanship/
3. Any implied warranties arising from this sale, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in duration to the above 5 year period. The above warranty is the exclusive remedy for the consumer, and US BALANCE shall not be liable for loss of use of the product or other incidental or consequential costs, expenses, or damages, so the above limitations or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal right and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
4. During the above 5 years warranty period. if the scale fails to work properly when used under normal conditions, we will repair, or at our option, replace the product with the same or newer model. To obtain Warranty service, fill out the form ( Included in the box). Return the form and the product in its original packaging with original sales receipt, and a check or money order for the amount of $10.00 USD (this covers return shipping, insurance, and inspection). Please send by registered mail through the U.S Post Office.
