Pos Indonesia has advised that many post offices have suffered major damage after an earthquake struck Lombok Island on 5 August 2018. Delays may be expected in the processing and delivery of all postal items in the areas with the following postal codes: Mataram: 83000–83365; Selong: 83600–83672; Sumbawa Besar: 84300–84381.
